Join BRMC neighbors on a Zip Line Adventure hosted by Outbound. The entire family can enjoying panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains at a new hight and speed. Reserve your spot with Outbound for the zip line canopy tour on Saturday, May 25th at Hawksnest, Seven Devils, North Carolina.
Guest Chef and Wine Dinner
In the evening, relax after a full day with an enhanced wine dinning experience prepared by a High Country guest chef. Seats for this event are limited, so contact a BRMC agent to reserve your seat for this savory meal and perhaps expand your knowledge of wine and food pairing.
Local Event Spotlight
Watauga County Farmer’s Market
This popular local event takes place every Saturday in the summer season at Horn in the West in Boone, NC. A host of vendors from all over the region showcase and sell their finest locally produced goods. Your kids will enjoy participating in various games and activities, and your whole family can enjoy scrumptious native dishes while watching live music shows.
On Saturday, May 25th, the Farmer’s Market will include two noteworthy displays that will be sure to spice up your weekend and take your mind off the mundane work week.
- Local Cooking Demo with Chef Clark Barlowe – Watch an informative presentation on local cuisine and tips to sharpen your culinary skills with advice from a talented area chef. Heirloom Restaurant, Chef Barlowe’s latest project, is scheduled for its grand opening this summer.
