As a destination for fishing, Blue Ridge Mountain Club is as blessed as it gets. An enormous variety of creeks and streams allow for everything from amateur angling to professional fly-fishing, while our waters are stocked with over 12 species of fish. Through our partnership with neighboring Chetola Resort, Orvis-certified fishing guides are available to teach members the techniques of any style. Float trips by river raft can also be organized via our Director of Member Services.
Also via our partnership with Chetola, members can arrange for horses and guides to experience BRMC’s stunning network of bridle trails. Enjoy the thrill of a first-class equestrian experience with none of the maintenance.
There are tons of great destinations in our park network for camping out under the stars all across the property. From the truly primitive camping experience where you set up everything from tent to fire pit, to modern-day ‘glamping,’ where furnished tents and stocked campsite are prepared for you, BRMC is equipped to facilitate any experience.
Approximately 15 miles of ATV trails traverse the property and members are encouraged to enjoy them. For members wishing to rent an ATV vehicle, inquire with our Director of Member Services.
Visit our Trails section for details on hiking at BRMC.
There are plenty of great spots for tossing the pig skin around or organizing a pick-up game of ultimate Frisbee, flag football, softball, and just about anything else that requires a simple, grassy clearing. Visit Our Parks section for more.
